The Tax Administration Research Centre (http://tarc.exeter.ac.uk) is hosted by the University of Exeter and conducts multidisciplinary research on all aspects of tax administration in order to strengthen the theoretical and empirical understanding of tax policy and its practical operation. The Centre was launched in 2013 and initially funded jointly by the Economic and Social Research Council and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. TARC has subsequently developed into a global hub of research activity, hosting a variety of events and accommodating research visitors from across the world.
The 8th annual conference will be held on 23rd and 24th April 2020, at the University of Exeter Business School.
Submissions in all areas of tax administration are invited from any perspective including accounting, economics, psychology and law. Empirical, experimental, and theoretical papers are equally welcome, as are contributions from practitioners.
The organisers will contribute to travel costs and accommodation for presenters.
Those wishing to submit a paper should email an abstract of no more than 500 words, along with their contact details and institutional affiliation, by the close of business Friday 13th December 2019 to firstname.lastname@example.org
The final programme will be announced by mid-January 2020. Full papers will be required by Friday 3rd April 2020.
